About us

From origin to the EU, under one roof

Master Nuts SRL is a Romanian importer and distributor of nuts, built on more than ten years of experience in the international nut trade – above all walnuts and walnut kernels.

Working hand in hand with our partner Gökle Gıda in Türkiye, we combine production capacity in China with Romania’s position inside the EU: goods are cleared at the Suceava customs office, stored in our warehouse and delivered across Europe within 24–72 hours. Alongside walnuts we also supply dates and dried plums.

Origin

From the homeland of the walnut

The Hotan and Aksu areas of the Uyghur Region are home to some of the world’s oldest walnut trees. The arid climate and long hours of sunshine are ideal for walnuts with light-coloured, sweet kernels.

What buyers ask about wholesale walnuts

Walnut kernels in bulk

Question not here? Write to us →

01Which walnut varieties does Master Nuts supply?

We supply 185, Xin 2, Xinpu, Xin 33 and Yunnan walnuts wholesale, both in-shell and as kernels. 185, Xin 2, Xinpu (also traded as Xinfeng / Xingfu) and Xin 33 come from the Uyghur Region; Yunnan walnuts (Juglans sigillata) come from southern China.

02What is a paper-shell walnut?

A paper-shell walnut has a shell thinner than 1 mm and can be cracked by hand. The best-known example is 185 (Wen 185): its shell is 0.6–0.8 mm, the kernel ratio is 60–68 %, and more than 85 % of the kernels come out whole (butterfly).

03Which product forms do you offer?

Washed or unwashed (natural) in-shell walnuts in 30, 32, 34 and 36 mm+ sizes; extra light and light butterfly (whole) kernels; halves, quarters and pieces for bakeries and the food industry. Packaging options are jute and PP sacks, vacuum cartons and private-label retail packs.

04How is walnut quality controlled?

Every lot is checked for moisture (target ≤ 5–6 % in-shell, ≤ 5 % kernels), analysed for aflatoxin and microbiology, and graded by size and colour. Lots are traceable by lot number; a phytosanitary certificate and certificate of origin accompany each shipment.

05Do you deliver across the European Union?

Yes. Goods are cleared through customs in Suceava, Romania, and delivered from our warehouse to any EU country within 24–72 hours. Since the goods are already in free circulation in the EU, you receive them without further import formalities.

06Do you send samples?

Yes. We send a sample box of the varieties you choose, so you can run cracking, kernel colour and taste tests at your own facility. Contact us at info@master-nuts.ro or +40 743 917 601 (WhatsApp).

07Can you also supply Türkiye and Central Asia?

Yes. Our partner Gökle Gıda serves Türkiye from its wholesale sales point at İGTOT Istanbul, and our regional warehouse in Uzbekistan gives access to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Russia.
